Chimerical echoes

Hostilities She folds her pleats And tucks them in With a million pins to hold them still Pulling down a pleat she covers her breast She then pins it up and conceals the rest! With her armor in place She is ready for her WAR In the streets of the city Where she battles it all Dressing up has always been labeled as a woman’s thing. Everyday millions of women dress up. It is a self-imposed part of their daily ritual. Women dress not for fashion, or to boost their self-image, seriously they dress themselves for WAR! Yes, Women today have to fight this war everyday in one way or the other. She wears her saree with a million pins… basically to cover her up so that she does not give an undue advantage to a loafer. Its just not just the saree, women of today wear any dress they pick with precaution. Girls wearing their salwars with their duppatta pinned on both sides. It’s a very common sight. But does the so called society even care that these women go through torture everyday in the city’s

It’s been quite a long time since I posted something which I wrote. It seems as if I have some sort of block which I can’t seem to get past! But I have decided the only way to get over this is to sidetrack this block and enjoy life on a different note. I read these comic strips this morning and it seemed to greatly cheer up my spirits. So I think its fun to follow this LoGiC for a change!
